Welcome to North Park Elementary!

North Park Elementary is located in North Logan, Utah, and has been operating since 1966.  We currently provide instruction to approximately 460 students in grades Kindergarten through 6th grade and another 65 preschoolers.  We also have an Essential Elements program at North Park.  

 

Our school motto is "North Park Knights are safe, respectful, responsible, and ready to learn!

 

One of our schoolwide goals is to ensure all students are at or above reading grade levels.  At-risk students are identified early each year and receive targeted, explicit individualized instruction provided by qualified paraprofessionals using research-based programs.  This also allows the classroom teacher to challenge those readers who are at and above the benchmark in their reading.  We also have a Gifted and Talented SEM program as one means to provide enrichment to some of our older students. 

 

Another goal is to help all students make progress in their math skills.  This is provided through quality whole classroom instruction using research-based programs and providing small group instruction as needed to support students in more specific areas.  

 

The State of Utah distributes money earned from the School LAND Trust funds to North Park Elementary each year. We are using these monies to hire aids to help facilitate our tier II reading program in order to meet yearly progress in proficiency and growth.  We also receive monies from the Teacher and Student Success Act (TSSA) to provide more support for students through our school counselor, additional paraeducators, and technology to enhance instruction.
