Principal Trisha Duersch

Trisha Duersch is THRILLED to be the new principal at North Park Elementary! A proud Cache Valley native, Trish grew up in Nibley and graduated from Mountain Crest High School. She earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Utah State University and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Western Governors University.

Throughout her 21 years in education, Trish has served in a variety of roles, including 5th-grade teacher, 1st-grade teacher, Literacy Facilitator, Instructional Coach, and School Support Leader. These experiences have strengthened her commitment to helping students succeed and supporting teachers in creating meaningful learning experiences.

While she loves her work in education, her favorite role is being a wife to her husband, Eric, and a mother to their two children, Makenna (15) and Cooper (13). The family lives in Wellsville and enjoys spending time together playing games, watching movies, playing in the water, and eating lots of delicious food that Eric cooks. Being able to serve in the valley she calls home makes this opportunity especially meaningful.

Trish is excited to partner with students, staff, and families to make North Park Elementary a place where everyone can learn, grow, and thrive.
