Knight Newsletter Format
- You’ll notice our newsletters have fewer images and are not PDFs. This format more easily translates into other languages and fits the text length requirements for our district’s updated newsletter notification system.
- In our school, we have families that speak English, Spanish, Arabic, Marshallese, Swahili, Korean, and Polish. I hope I didn’t miss any of the languages represented at North Park!
- We will still attach PDFs as needed but it will not be our main source of sharing school information.
Cache Valley Direct PTO Fundraiser
We’re kicking off our annual PTO fundraiser with Cache Valley Direct Books. Here’s what you need to know:
- Books Go Home: Each student will get a book and envelope to take home on Tuesday, Sept. 30. The fundraiser runs until Oct. 18.
- Returning Books: If your child doesn’t want to sell, just return the book to PTO volunteers at the front entry tables before school. Students will get a dumdum sucker for returning their book.
- Selling Books: Show the book to family, friends, and neighbors. No students should sell these door-to-door or to strangers. Buyers fill out a Google form (QR code on envelope). Bring cash/checks to volunteers, not teachers.
- Prizes: Students who sell books can win prizes—see details on the envelope! Every student who returns or sells a book gets a dumdum (one per student).
- PTO volunteers will be at school every morning starting Oct. 1 to help with books and payments.
Goal: We aim to raise $13,500 for programs and field trips. We’ve raised $4,500 so far—let’s reach our goal together!

Spirit Days
Congratulations to Mrs. Weaver’s kindergarten class and Miss Read’s fourth grade class who had the highest percentage of students wear school spirit clothing.
- Wear white, blue, black, yellow, or North Park shirts.
- Spirit Fridays most weeks—this week is Spirit Thursday!
- We’ll reward one upper and one lower grade class with the most spirit wear.
- North Park clothing orders are in—see PTO if you ordered.
- If you’d like, bring in outgrown North Park clothing in good condition and we’ll make sure it goes to students who need it.
