I encourage you to get involved in any way you can. Whether you volunteer in classrooms, join our PTO, participate in the School Community Council, or attend our family events, your involvement makes a real difference.

If you ever have questions or need support, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I’m here to help!

General School Information:

  • In the interest of safety, please do not drop your students off before 8:40 am as there is no supervision before that time.

  • If your child will be absent from school, please contact the office at 435-752-5121.

  • If students are tardy, they must check in at the office to update our attendance records for the day. If the student doesn’t check in at the office, parents/guardians may still receive an absentee call from our automatic system.  We would like to prevent that from happening whenever possible.

  • Only individuals listed on a student’s emergency forms will be allowed to check a student out of school.

 Meal Prices and Menus:

  • The cost of school lunch will be $2.05 for lunch and $1.40 for breakfast.  Milk costs $0.35.
  • Adult’s may come for lunch with their student if they would like. Adult lunch is $4.00. Purchase your lunch ticket before heading to the cafeteria in the office.

  • Breakfast will begin at approximately 8:40 am.

  • Please complete the free and reduced lunch form online to determine if your child is eligible for free or reduced lunch costs.  This is also helpful as it is used to determine possible additional funding schools may be eligible for based on this information.

Classroom School Supply List:

  • School supplies for use in the classroom will be provided by the school. Teachers may send families a list of items to consider donating in addition to those the school will be providing. While the donations are appreciated, they are not required.

  • The items on a teacher’s donation request list will be used during the regular school day. They may be brought from home on a voluntary basis. Otherwise, they will be furnished by the school.

Bus Schedules:

Bus schedules are available online at CCSD Bus Stops.  Access the link to see if your home is in the parent transportation boundary or the bus zone.  You will also find approximate times for pick up and drop off for those living in our bus boundaries.  These times are subject to change so we recommend you check this site just prior to the first day of school. The transportation department has an app that can tell you where your bus is and when it will be to you.  You can learn more here.

School Newsletter:

We will send a newsletter through email to our families weekly or biweekly.  Please notify us if you’re not receiving these emails as they regularly contain important school information from the school and PTO. Contact your child’s classroom teacher or the office if you need a hard copy of the newsletter.

Health and Safety:

We will continue to practice safety procedures, including:

  • Cleaning high touch surfaces
  • Practicing good hand hygiene

  • Staying home when ill

  •

Classroom Volunteers:

Volunteers are a valuable part of our team at North Park.  We are grateful for the assistance provided in so many ways.  When you volunteer, please check in at the office to sign in and get a volunteer sticker.

Sincerely,
Jullie Payne
North Park Principal
